Tunisia: Mohamed Ben Ayed Discusses Partnership and Cooperation Relations with Indian Ambassador

On Friday, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ben Ayed, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to Tunisia, Devyani Uttam Khobragade, at the ministry’s headquarters.
According to an official statement, Mohamed Ben Ayed reaffirmed Tunisia's commitment to further developing and diversifying partnership and cooperation relations with India across various fields and sectors. He emphasized the importance of these ties, particularly in light of the upcoming 13th session of the Joint Committee and the 6th session of bilateral political consultations between the two countries, set to take place later this year.

During the meeting, both sides also underscored the importance of reinforcing coordination mechanisms between Tunisia and India, particularly in terms of mutual support for candidacies within international organizations and UN bodies, as well as on global issues of shared interest.
