Tunisia: The Minister of Economy and the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade affirm their joint commitment to further enhancing economic relations

Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Samir Abdel Hafidh, met with Ms. Reinette Klever, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, who is currently on a working visit to Tunisia.
The meeting, which was attended by the Dutch Ambassador to Tunisia, provided an opportunity to review the areas of economic cooperation between Tunisia and the Netherlands and to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening these relations through increased exchanges and meetings to explore the opportunities and possibilities available in both countries.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the two ministers to discuss fields that could provide a framework for deeper and more diverse cooperation, aligning with Tunisia's priorities, such as agriculture, water management, coastal erosion, and renewable energy. Additionally, efforts were discussed to promote Dutch investments in Tunisia and explore cooperation opportunities with the Dutch Development Bank "FMO" and the Dutch institution "Invest International."
