Tunisia: Minister of Economy and Zambian Presidential Envoy Discuss Ways to Strengthen Economic Relations
On the afternoon of Friday, January 9, 2025, Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Samir Abdelhafidh, met with Mr. Caleb Fundanga, the special envoy of the President of the Republic of Zambia, who is currently on a visit to Tunisia.
The meeting, attended by the Zambian Ambassador to Tunisia, served as an opportunity for both sides to address a range of issues of mutual interest.

During the discussion, Mr. Samir Abdelhafidh and Mr. Caleb Fundanga emphasized their shared commitment to strengthening economic relations and exploring available opportunities and possibilities to advance in this direction. This includes cooperation within the framework of bilateral ties as well as within African economic blocs such as COMESA and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), ensuring mutual benefits for both nations.
